SNOWBIRDS, you can STILL vote in this election. You have two options:
Add voting to your pre-trip checklist - Before you fly down south, take advantage of the early voting at the location above.
Vote by mail - If you’re already abroad and can’t do in person early voting.
Here are the steps to take to cast your ballot using the Vote By Mail voting process.
Step 1 - Submit your application to vote by mail BEFORE February 21 at 6:00 PM (ET)
Step 2 - Receive & complete your mail-in ballot
Once your application has been reviewed and approved, a voting kit with a ballot will be mailed out to the address provided.
NOTE: Your vote-by-mail kits will be mailed out with a pre-paid envelope for return, but if you’re outside Canada, you will have to cover the cost of international postage for returning your voting kits.
Step 3 - Mail your ballot so that it arrives by 6:00 PM on February 27th
Elections Ontario must receive your completed voting kit by 6:00 PM on election day for the vote to be counted. Otherwise, your vote won’t count.
You will be able to track the status of your voting kit using a confirmation number provided by Elections Ontario.
